Revision Intellishade spf 45 matte

You could say I have been disgruntled with foundations lately. I can't seem to find one that works well with my skin. So I could not turn down the opportunity to test out Revision skincare new matte version of their Intellishade tinted moisturizer. It offers many of my "magic" words when I am looking for a new product, matte and pore-minimizing it also offers a spf and tripeptides that help reduce fine lines. {I have a baby face so that isn't a factor for me}

Appearance
It is one shade fits all, I am quite "ivory" and was surprised how it blended into my skin and didn't give more color than I needed. The coverage of the mineral tint is sheer, so I can see how it will blend into darker skin tones as well. Because the coverage is sheer I needed a little extra concealer over top and it blended beautifuly. It says it can be worn alone of over make-up and it is definitely true. As a base all over my skin, my skin felt much smoother and softer than my usual mask of foundation, very lovely as a base.
Application
I tried a few ways to wear it. One by applying it with a make-up sponge, this I found un-necessary it uses to much product and felt it went on to thick. I found the best wear to apply it was with your finger tip and rubbing it in like a lotion.

Overall
My larger pores on my cheeks and forehead were smoothed out nicely with this product. It stayed matte through out the day {it is not a powdery dry matte but a nice not oily matte} I am really like using it as a make-up base and would recommend giving it a try if you have been unhappy with the "quality" of other shall we say sephora brand primers/tinted moisturizers the price is on par so it never hurts to try! A great product either way since it offers spf via Titanium and Zinc.

Where to buy?
It’s sold through dermatologists, plastic surgeons and at medical spas. You can find it through the product locator here. To read more about Revision you can visit their site.
