Thrift finds for September

I tend to post my more holy grail or unique finds on instagram (@daphnelynnd) if you want to see my full finds for the month. Here is a look at me reverting back to old habits and coming home with kitchen items the month of September.
tea tin: it has birds on it what more do I need to say. I am liking how jumbo it is, it will be great for the upcoming baking season!
blue pyrex: this is my first official pyrex piece. Shockingly enough I have never been drawn to them but this little blue guy made my buy him.
colander: I have always wanted a nice enameled strainer and this one was in near mint condition so it come home with me.
Next month as always I would like to come home with more vintage clothes and try to stay away from kitchen items lets hope it works!

  1. I love this. Very pretty, very vintage. Great find, I always fail at thrift shopping.

  2. Love the tin - It's super cute! Would definitely make for a lovely tin to put some baking in for a gift. :)

  3. I love all the kitchen items! Like you, I typically come home from the thrift store with housewares, I need to keep my eyes open for a warm vintage coat to get me thru the winter. What types of clothing are you looking for?

  4. Oooh, what a pretty piece to launch your Pyrex collection off on! I used to have a small collection eons ago, but had to part with it (like 97% of my belongings) when I sold off my possessions and move to Ireland (because that's where my soon-to-be husband was living and working at the time, and I wasn't in a position to bring my household items with me). I scored a couple of teeny red icebox storage containers (sans their lids) last year at a yard sale, but presently, that's my only Pyrex, so we're both in the very beginning stages of our current collections.
