thrift finds for March

March wasn't too bad in the thrifting dept I did come home empty handed quite a bit the above "haul" is all from one day I spent a whooping $11 after taxes.
vera butterfly scarf: I put this up for sale in my etsy shop and it has already sold. It was a pretty easy sale. No sellers regret as of yet.
baby blue refrigerator box: I was pretty pleased to find this it is shaped like a berry basket and is made by glass bake. I haven't been able to find another online to compare it to, I will be keeping it for myself though.
cigar box: I have been having a moment with wood lately and I love this little box. The typography on it is just charming.
black beaded purse: No joke I went thrifting to drop off some old purses and I came home with a new one. I had been hoping to find a plain black beaded bag and with the plastic handle this one is just too perfect in my opinion.

  2. Wow you did find some nice things. There is a store in a town called Sayville (one of the towns you catch the ferry to Fire Island) that you would LOVE it has such beautiful and carefully curated vintage pieces from the 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s but focuses on the early 60s.
