my week in pictures

not mine I "stole" them from Lisa and her instragram account
This past week with the first hints of spring I made it a point to get out to and do some things I neglected all winter. First off I finally got around to meeting Lisa from butterflies and daisies vintage we meet on Osbourne at little sister coffee maker. If you can find yourself a table it is the nicest place to have coffee and meet up. I drink tea but luckily Lisa got a coffee and was able to showcase what gorgeous drink they serve.
While I was spring cleaning I found a few butterfly and daisy related items which I gave to Lisa and my purse found a new good vintage loving home! We hit up a few vintage shops (vintage in the village and the Osbourne antique mall) I came home empty handed but it was really nice to meet a person you feel like you stalk in person Lisa was great.
I decided to treat myself to a few things from the new Jenna Rae Cakes bakery. I can't make macaroons to save my life so anytime I know of a place that is close by I will pick some up. These are definitely the prettiest I have seen! I love imperial cookies as well so I like to test out versions for every bakery I visit. I will certainly be back closer to my birthday to treat myself again.
I didn't have much luck in the thrifting dept. This week I picked up a few thank you cards that were yellow and had roses what else could I ask for?
What do others like to do when spring first comes?

  3. How awesome that you and Lisa got to meet up! You're both two of my favourite Canadian bloggers ever. I soooo hope to make it out to Manitoba (I've never been before) and would absolutely love to meet you both one day, too.

    Big hugs,
    ♥ Jessica
