new on etsy

Last month I picked up a few extra bits for my shop. A good chunk of my items will be expiring soon so it was time to keep things fresh so here is what I have added. I do still find it weird buying things I know don't fit me/I already own something similar, hopefully these find good new homes!

1950's chiffon blouse: I am not going to lie I bought this for myself but it is just a tad too big in the waist and would look so much better on somebody it fits. I can't resist buying vintage clothing at the thrift.

glass cluster bead brooch: I own something very similar already but again when you find such a beautifully made pieces you need to bring it home.

black leather gloves *sold*: ooh how I wished these fit me, I wasn't going to get them but then I had something to exchange so I got them for the shop. They are so soft and whom ever has a size 7 hand will love them.

strawberry apron: I own a few aprons and I will admit this one it too precious for me to even think of getting vanilla extract on. I can't leave embroidery behind....

There you have it my shop is still small but I like it that way.

  1. Wonderful new (old!) offerings. That apron is seriously cute! I've always had the biggest crush on strawberry print/themed things. I think it stretches back to the annual Berry Festival that's held in Abbotsford, BC, where I lived for a few years as young child.

  2. funny, that you just talked about vintage blouses in the comment on my last post. ... i just digged through my collection of clothes and found out that i have a lot of 40s-50s-60s blouses. we had to move our storage and we have to pay four times more then before for a much smaller space now. so i have to get rid of a lot of things. sooner or later there will be an etsy shop ... maybe there will be the right blouse for you. ;)
