thrift snap shots : purses

I do plan on doing other types of posts but it seems the past few weeks I have been doing a whole lot of not buying anything from the thrift store! I haven't added a purse to my personal collection since December, crazy I know but nothing has been in good condition/ been something I don't already own. Last week I spotted quite a few lovely vintage purses that were tempting.

tootled leather: the first one was really nice priced at $14.99 it would have been okay if it was in good condition but the lining in all the pockets was ripped and all the zippers broken, so sad.
The second one wasn't really tooled leather but stamped it was very soft and priced appropriately at $4.99 I just don't use cross body bags even though some days I feel I should get on that.

vintage wicker: I love these types of purses the mint green was unique but the beaded handle felt weird and I think cheapened the look of the bag. It was priced at $14.99 which I felt was too much for something I most likely won't use...

bubble bag: I am always drawn to these this one had fantastic lucite cross bars and a really unique handle but it also had stains and a broken strap.

Here's to hoping for more thrift luck next week!

  1. I know, I know, massive broken record, but goodness is it amazing how great vintage purses you spot while thrifting. Over the course of the whole last year, including trips to bigger cities, I've only spotted about four, if I remember correctly, three of which I bought and listed in my shop. Yet another reason why I NEED to visit and go shopping in Winnipeg! :)

    Big hugs,
