Winnipeg things to do in March

March will have quite a few new store openings and some pop-up events. Here is a look at a few that are on my radar.

Vintage:
Sunday March 13th 10 - 4 pm cost $5
The Manitoba Antiques Association will be holding their spring antique sale at 1670 Portage Ave
(the Viscount Gort Hotel)

I don't care for this location, beware you will have to jay walk across route 90 as parking although free is a pain. That being said yes am I going to be getting up early the morning the time changes and going to this sale. I am going to be looking for vintage eyeglass frames and hopefully a 1940's necklace.

Retail + Coffee
modern supply co + Thom Bargen should be opening up mid March at their second location for Thom and first for modern supply co at 250 Kennedy St.

The above image was taken from modern supply co insta account and it looks like it is going to be lovely! I already adore Herbivore and know nettie and min will be selling there. I can't wait to see what other treasures they have brought into the city.

Margot and Maude
Also opening up in March will be a new boutique on Academy called Margot and Maude. They already have an impressive brand list going on their website and their insta account is looking lovely. It will be located in the same mini mall as Jenna Rae Cakes so I will be visiting it once it opens for sure!

Food + Drink
Saturday March 19th 5 - 9 pm $15 advanced, $20 at the door
local love mb will be hosting their 3rd Annual  "Beer, Wine and Food Event"
Canads Inn Polo Park will be transformed into a charming farmers’ market ambiance, where sensational cuisine, beverages & music come alive together under one roof.

Guests will have the opportunity to treat their taste-buds to an abundance of bite-sized gourmet delights from top local food producers and sample Manitoba’s finest breweries.

Are their any other local events that you are looking forward to in March? Do share!

    1. ah I thought oh doughnuts was already open! I can't wait, I tend not to follow food accounts since I get tempted and pick up too many sweets.

  2. Ooohh, I hope you have an amazing time at the antiques sale. I hit one in Vernon a couple of weekends ago and it was a lot of fun. We get so few around here that I really, really try to get to as many of those that do happen.
