how I am using my July thrift finds

I featured most of my thrift finds this month in posts already so instead of doing a round-up I figured I would show if/how my find are being used around my house.

My Brandon creamery milk bottle has not really found a home, it is on a shelf stuffed behind last months head vase find. I do really love that little bottle and hope to find a good use for it soon.
On my dresser I am using my blue mason jar to hold larger make-up brushes. Half pint jars are the perfect height for this I have more scattered around my room.

I have a wood cabinet that I keep my baking items in and decided my little hazel atlas creamer would be good to hold my measuring spoons. I like that is has a handle so pulling them all out of my cupboard to use will be a breeze. I thrifted a yellow mixing bowl the same day that I have not used it is currently hidden away in a cupboard until I can sort out a good way to display my bowls.

I thrifted two jewellery pieces this month they just so happened to be brass and have a bird motif because well I love birds... I made sure to try and wear my new to me thrifted top. I do like it but have to figure out how to not get make-up on the collar I was quickly reminded why I tend to wear black a lot.

How as last month for others in the thrift dept?

  1. Very lovely! I like this so much.

  2. Your new bird pieces are just gorgeous! I find that wee milk bottles make for great bud vases. They're also pretty filled with colour (craft) sand, glass pebbles or hard candies and used simply as lovely decor pieces.

    Happy start of August wishes!
