new to me beauty part 2: youth to the people, briogeo, pure anada +

Here is a look at the rest of my spring beauty buys as I have been swapping out products to be natural/cruelty free.

bite beauty matte lip crayon in pastille: (99% natural, cruelty free)
This was a sephora point perk this month I will pretty much try anything bite beauty beauty has to offer. The bite beauty matte lip crayons are really nice and light on the lips while not making them look like crepe paper. The shade pastille is a wonderful bright mauve, very unique and unlike anything I already owned. A welcome addition to my lip stash

ole henriksen counter balance oil control hydrator: (cruelty free)
This was also a point perk and sadly a miss for me. I am not sure what essential oil it is in here but it makes me oily, oddly most "oil" control products do but seeing as this was a lotion not a primer per se I had high hopes it would work. The other little downside I found is it is not a matte finish you can see the tell tale lotion line of shine where ever you apply this...

pure anada natural mascara: (100% natural, cruelty free)
This is made near by in Morden and is a fair price for a natural mascara (some can be pretty pricey) it has a natural bristle brush which I have not used in years, it is also curved which I am personally not a fan of. Besides that it seems to be okay I have to make sure not to apply to much as you can go from good to cakey quite fast. I have a feeling it will get better with age. It does not flake through out the day and washes off easily so far so good, it is too early to tell if it has converted me to natural mascaras.

method body wash in lilac blossom: (biodegradable, cruelty free)
I love lilac anything and religiously use other method products so this is a match made in heaven.  This particular scent is very light and reminiscent of the gentle lilac smell in the air. Don't expect you or your bathroom to smell of it, it is very subtle but I don't mind it. The bottle is gigantic and a bit hard to use but overall I am a fan of it.

briogeo rosarco blow dry cream: (95% natural, cruelty free)
I don't do too much to my hair just shampoo it and blow dry so hair products are not my thing...I do like to use a blow dry cream and to find one almost all natural was fabulous. Despite being made from oils this cream really absorbs into your hair nicely and does not make it feel greasy or like you have any product in it. I am finding it had been doing a great job and overall quite happy with my purchase.

youth to the peopl kale + green tea age prevention cleanser: (vegan, cruelty free)
I could not wait to try this cleanser anything with green tea in the name gets me. I also really like the fact this come with a pump. It smells like crushed up salad which is unique and refreshing. As for being a good cleanser... it foams and washes away easily and has not caused any skin troubles for me so far so it gets a thumbs up.
